Trinity Drypoint is a printmaking process in which the image is cut directly into a copper plate. The plate is then inked and run through an etching press to transfer the image onto heavyweight, acid-free paper. Each print has to be pulled by hand, and the process of inking the plate always yields a slightly different result, so each print is unique. Moreover, because the delicate image on the original copper plate wears down quickly, editions are typically limited to no more than a few dozen prints. In this instance, I have only made a few proofs, like the one shown here, and have not yet printed an edition. When I have printed the edition I will update this web page with details about the edition size and pricing. To inquire about a purchase, e-mail me. |
